Passage Of Gaia

letting go, I feel your essence slip away
as branches sway with apparitions in the haze
and it burns me
as it burrows deep inside
let it die
and when you pass this realm
just as a spirit drawn to the light

In our dreams we're saved
to the void's embrace
in the lumination of the heart and burned alive
When they call your name
all the ghosts and wraiths
to the halls of death with such divinity you shine

So torch the sails and cast this atlas to the brine
as pain gives way to the compassion of the tides
Let your thoughts leave
As this mortality befell
unto all of us
Over these noble seas
...and now amongst them you shall dwell

In our dreams we're saved
to the void's embrace
in the lumination of the heart and burned alive
When they call your name
all the ghosts and wraiths
to the halls of death with such divinity you shine
